Jessica/ Tessa’s pov;
For a moment, I saw him and I was really convinced that it was him.
He stood between two twisted trees, shrouded in dark aura. His face was thinner than I remembered, his eyes burning unnaturally bright. His clothes was dirty, torn at the sleeve, and his hair scattered.
But what made me even more surprised was the blood dripping out of his body, he was injured and bleeding from several parts of his body.
A deep cut ran across his ribs and it was poorly bandaged. Blood seeped through the cloth.
Our eyes met and he smirked as though he knew something that I didn’t.
