Today is the day we break the news of my mother's recovery to her. And, I was very excited about it. I have had everything ready.
The flowers, the balloons, the card, and the dinner.
Everything was perfect.
And, I couldn't wait.
We had invited only close people. Mum, dad, Kira and Christian, Lilah and Ryan. It was going to be a small and intimate dinner.
Just the way my mother liked it.
Zane and I had been cooking all day. Making varieties of dishes, lasagna, roasted potatoes, chicken, beef, and pasta. We were cooking for a large army. But, it was going to be a fun dinner, so, we had decided, it was worth the extra effort.
