Kristen The water was shockingly cold, despite the humid summer night. It took my breath away but it didn’t put out the fire in my veins. I surfaced with a gasp, treading water in a pool that was surprisingly deep, against a current that was sucking on my legs, threating to pull my shoes off my feet.
