I was thrilled to see Colt was alive. This world is confusing with all this magical stuff, I have no idea how a light guided him to me, but I am glad it did.
Colt grabbed my hand and helped me up. That’s when I noticed this warm little speck of light surrounding Colt.
“It… you're glowing.” I told Colt.
He got a huge smile on his face and said, “Well I am your knight in shining armour.”
I had to smile at that. “I guess you are. Let’s go find Roland.” I told him.
The light bounced ahead of us as it lit the way. I could see that the dark was hiding what looked like stone walls.
“Why is the wall stone? I didn’t notice that earlier when… um…you know.” I said to Colt.
