Richard was unable to make it to Kentville. I knew I would have to go back to Kalroy, so Anthonia decided she would remain a little while longer. I knew they had a lot of catching up to do. We all knew there was a possibility we didn't have long with Mildred. It was only fair I let them catch up and heal the pain that had lingered for twenty-five years. I could always get to know my mother later.
