When Anthonia Carson called to tell me what happened, I was in shock. Honestly, I could not believe it. Raven was her daughter all along. It was amazing.
Having a child at such a young age must have been hard. I was sure she had a hard time with it. I was glad that Raven had finally found her family and that it was Anthonia. Anthonia was lonely last time. Now, she wouldn't be anymore.
To think of it, they all had similar eyes, and Raven was just as smart as her mother. I couldn't wait to celebrate with Raven, but the thought that they had found this out when Mildred was ill and might not make it was heartbreaking, especially for Anthonia.
It would have been nice to catch up and get to know each other. I prayed she would have that opportunity.
