I woke up on an empty bed and found the note Richard had left me. I wondered why he was going to Thomas's house so early. I hoped everything was okay.
I knew Jane was with Thomas, and we had yet to catch up. It was deliberate on my part because I wanted her and Thomas to spend quality time together.
How I wished Richard had taken me along. I guess I will have to wait for him to return.
Richard and I were supposed to go to the main house in the evening. Raina was throwing a small party for the women, and Keith was having a barbecue that would spill into the knight. It wasn't anything serious, but we were required to attend.
