I found it difficult to get any sleep the previous night.
I couldn’t stop thinking about Marcus. I just saw him and about a few hours later, he was found dead. I couldn’t believe it. It felt like a bad dream.
What could have happened to him? It didn’t say he was involved in an accident. He just died mysteriously! Something was definitely wrong.
Different thoughts ran through my head but I felt like I was being paranoid. What if it was Ruiz who was behind his death?
Before I left for the date, he asked me to give him some information about Marcus. I shouldn’t have done that. I should’ve known better.
I didn’t want to accuse Ruiz wrongly, so I needed to be certain about my claims before confronting him. But what did he have to gain in killing Marcus?
