I didn’t want Zoey to know that I planned the entire party just because of her. So when I found out that she knew, I was really upset and couldn’t even control my emotions.
“Who told you that?” I sneered, the anger palpable in my voice.
Zoey took a step back, clearly shocked by my reaction. “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have said that.” She apologized with a hint of confusion in her voice. “I’m really sorry.”
I scoffed. “You didn’t answer my question,” I said, my voice sharp. “Who told you about it?” I repeated firmly.
The only two people who knew the truth about the party were Eve and Lee. And I didn’t think Eve would do me like that.
