I felt a little bit relieved knowing that Sean had arrived to rescue me from that crazy man. Yes, Conrad was a crazy man.
Even before he left the room, I asked him to just allow me to leave, but he refused. I had no idea what his plan was because I knew damn well that Sean wouldn’t go back home without me.
Conrad was just causing unnecessary trouble.
I tried my best to get up from the bed when he was about to leave but I was too weak to even lift my body. I was actually confused about why I felt that way.
Since I couldn’t do anything. I just decided to lie and wait for Sean to rescue me. But it had been a while since Conrad left and I hadn’t heard any noise coming from outside.
Or even any sign of Sean coming into the room.
