I couldn’t just sit back and do nothing when Zoey’s life was in danger, so I drove over to Sean’s house as fast as I could.
At first, when I couldn’t find Zoey in the room Sean had described, I almost lost my mind.
But I was relieved when I tried calling her a few more times and the call connected. Zoey wasn’t even pleased to hear that I was at the house.
