Whether Michael knew it or not, he’d provided a lot more information than he realized. Simply knowing the ideal number of rogues gave us an advantage. Now, we knew how many soldiers had to be recruited when the time came.
That evening, I wrote out my official letter to the Alpha King. Time was running out. And given the most recent developments, I had a great deal to inform him of, which was going to likely work in my favor.
I made sure to include the capacity in which Evelyn had integrated herself within the pack. How she managed to not only identify the leading cause behind the feral wolves’ erratic behavior, but also how she developed a special serum that could essentially cure the effects of Wolfsbane poisoning.
