Going to the hospital was a nice distraction. I’ve been visiting over the last few weeks in order to not only focus on my wolf’s treatment, but to also continue helping the medical staff.
They hadn’t been kidding when they’d asked for my help with treating feral wolves and I was happy to do whatever I could. Throughout my time helping out, I’d quickly learned that these feral wolves in Kane’s pack had all once participated in the war against the rogue forces. The doctors believed their condition was a result of war‑trauma.
Over the last few weeks, I’ve discovered that my wolf has a miraculously calming effect on these feral wolves and seems to help them whenever they begin to have an episode. I’m thankful that I can ease these wolves, but it also feeds my own hope.
