Evelyn’s POV That evening, I happily volunteered to make dinner for everyone. I moved about the kitchen that was clearly designed for a Michelin chef and did my best not to tamper with too many things. I figured grilled chicken and pasta would be a good choice. While I was in the middle of waiting for my water to boil on the stove, I began chopping up a few tomatoes to throw into the pasta dish once it was done. Cheryl and the others had decided to go for a walk along the beach back, having tried numerous times to allow them a chance to help me in the kitchen. But I persistently refused.
