Evelyn’s POV With dinner officially over and the guests gone, I decide to stay behind to help clean up alongside Diana, some of the other nurses, and their friends. “You don’t have to help us,” Diana says as I carry a plate of dishes to the kitchen. “We’re happy to take care of it.” “It’s no trouble at all,” I tell her. “I know I’ve already said it a million times, but I am truly grateful for your help.
