Evelyn’s POV I hadn’t the slightest idea where Kane was taking me. All I could focus on was the horrible wave of emotions that kept withering within me. I felt like I was being torn in half by this uncontrollable anger and my failing sense of resolve. It burned and coiled as every little thing continued to set me off.
