Aurora’s POV The cold night air burned against my skin as Caleb’s dark stallion raced through the forest. My body ached with every stride, each step pounding into the ground like a drumbeat of doom. Caleb’s grip around my waist was unrelenting, his claws digging into my side whenever I shifted even slightly. I stayed still, silent. Fighting now was useless.
