We spilled into the hallway, the door closing behind Wolf, Beast, and Theo with a quiet but final sound.
Tim pulled me to his room, and as soon as the door was closed, his lips were on mine.
It caught me off guard. I’d never been kissed so spontaneously, but as I understood what was happening, I smiled and kissed him back.
I noticed that my fingers always seemed to find his beard; they liked to run through it. I also noticed that it always earned me a groan of approval from him whenever I did.
"I've wanted to do that the whole meeting. I'm proud of how you handled yourself in there, Darlin'. I love how comfortable you are becoming with asking questions and being present in conversations. I'm so proud of you."
His words overflowed me with pride. I nearly burst from happiness.
