Dennis POV As soon as I can open my eyes, my mother comes into view. I can see tears staining her cheeks and it guts me. "I'm alright mom," I manage to croak out despite my mouth feeling like a desert. "Don't you scare me like this again, Dennis Hilker. I swear you boys are definitely the reason I have to keep dying my hair to hide the grays," she says. She leans down and presses a kiss on my forehead.
