"Ridge is home with a baby who can almost walk," Mira said. "He's not thinking about anything except survival right now." She held up a tiny dress and looked at it. "This one," she said. "She'll wear it twice," I said. "I know," Mira said, and put it in the basket anyway. By the time Mira was done with the baby section the basket was full and she hadn't even started on clothes for herself and Ridge yet. I left her to it and went to find my own section.
