I looked at Ridge after he ended the call. Zander being at the property changed what we were dealing with. The dark truck being there made it even harder to ignore. We finally had both in the same place.
"What does Garret want to do?" I asked. I remained near the window. Turner looked up from the laptop. Ridge put his phone away.
"He wants more eyes on it first," Ridge answered. He walked toward the desk. "He's sending two more officers." I nodded.
That meant we weren't going anywhere yet. Garret needed to know how many people were on the property before anyone approached it. The last thing we needed was Zander seeing police too early and getting away. Priest could be there too.
