Priest running didn't change Ridge's order. Nobody left the compound while Garret and his officers searched the area around the property. Turner went back inside with his laptop to check the land behind it. I stayed outside with Ridge and Knox.
The property backed onto a large wooded area. Turner found another road several miles beyond it, but Priest would have to travel a long way on foot to reach it. Garret already had officers moving into that area. If Priest had a vehicle hidden somewhere, we didn't know about it.
