The second Dane and Zander stepped outside, people started paying attention. Harlow was already moving after them and Tessa wasn't far behind. Asher followed without a word. By the time they reached the edge of the parking lot, a small crowd had formed without anyone organizing it.
I hated it immediately.
Dane stopped a few feet from Zander. Neither of them looked interested in backing down. The longer they stood there, the worse the feeling in my stomach got. It was obvious everyone understood something was happening.
I moved toward Dane.
He didn't look at me.
That alone was enough to make me nervous. Usually he heard me and usually he looked at me when I was close. Right now he was only looking at Zander. Nothing else seemed to exist.
"You wanted to talk," Zander said.
