(Dane) Ridge and Asher were barely out the gate before the itch started. I knew it well enough by now. The pull toward wherever the problem was. I sat with it and didn't act on it. Cassidy still had my hand. The kitchen was quieter now. Mira was focused on getting Sarah settled. Harlow was doing the thing she did when she was trying not to show she was worried, moving things around on the table, picking up her cup and putting it back down without drinking from it. I knew that feeling. I sat there and let it run through me without acting on it. That was the hard part. Not the anger. The anger was easy.
