I woke before Cassidy the next morning. She was still asleep beside me, one hand resting near my side. I stayed there for a few minutes because there was nowhere I needed to rush off to yet. After the last few days, that felt strange.
Our phones were still off from Ridge's order. Mine sat on the dresser where I'd left it the night before. Nobody was supposed to turn theirs back on until Ridge said otherwise. If the club needed me, someone would come find me.
I got dressed before heading into the kitchen. Cassidy's laptop bag was already beside the table. There wasn't much else for us to take home since we'd only stayed at the compound for a short time. Most of our things were already at the house.
