I waited for one of them to talk. I wasn't sure if they would, or if they'd wait for me to start it off. Honestly, I wasn't sure where to start. Telling Bexley about my past wasn't something I'd ever thought I'd do. It felt right in the moment, and after forcing her to share what she did with me, I felt it was only fair. But Bexley made some fair points, and it shook me to my core.
Because she was right. So right. Why would The Fates do that for no reason? Why would Selene allow it to happen? There had to be something I was missing.
