When I woke up, I was surrounded by warmth. My mind woke up before the rest of me did. I didn't want to open my eyes. I didn't want to move at all. Everything felt so warm and cozy and peaceful. Scents hit me first. Mouthwateringly delicious. Coconut, cinnamon, ocean breeze, spice, and a musky man.ly note mixed in. It was the best thing I'd ever smelled in my life. And it was wrapped around me, cocooning me. I never wanted it to disappear. I rolled over, hoping to push my face into whatever was giving off that scent. The coconut and ocean breeze scents were stronger. I pushed my nose closer, smushing it into something hard and warm. I inhaled deeply, and a small sigh left my lips.
