Riley POV The villa was even more beautiful inside. I walked slowly through the living room while Luca spoke with the housekeeper near the entrance. Everything looked too perfect. The kitchen had been stocked before our arrival. Fresh fruit filled a large bowl on the island. Bottles of water and juice waited inside the refrigerator. Someone had placed flowers on the dining table and folded towels beside the pool. I stepped through the open doors onto the terrace. Warm coastal air touched my face. For the first time in days, I breathed without hearing cameras, questions, or phones vibrating. The water stretched endlessly before me. “It is beautiful.” Luca’s voice came from behind me. “I know.” I turned. He had removed his jacket, leaving him in a simple dark shirt and trousers.
