This was ridiculous. I have been chasing her deeper and deeper into these dark parts of the forest. The parts that no one from the pack would venture, but here I was, calling her name and chasing after her.
I was searching the pack for the last day and a half. Ever since I heard the Royals were sending guards to arrest me, I knew I had to figure out a way to escape the Cherry Ridge pack. It was too easy.
Once I realized I was a spooky ghost tale around their warriors, and they didn’t much care to be around the shed they assigned me to sleep in, it was like the path cleared, and I was given this convenient opportunity to escape undetected.
