Once Avery had left with Joe to keep her safe, I made the necessary phone calls. The next ten answers were quick with little conversation, if one could even call what proceeded a conversation. I told my ten most trusted men beneath Dallas and Joe to come to the compound and to come armed. That was all that I needed to say before moving to the next person on the list.
