"That's because I have not been here before." I lied and looked back at the table where my group had arrived and settled in. I didn’t have to worry about this guy knowing I was lying to him. There was no way he could tell if I was in his state, and really, I did not care if he did. Sure, I could count the number of times I had been here to the bar on one hand, but I was here just yesterday, and I did not see it necessary to give that information to a stranger. He should think I am a stranger, too. As long as I say nothing to encourage him that his conversation is welcome, then hopefully he will turn back to his buddy and leave me alone. Blake was locked in conversation with Joe and the other member who had just shown up. He did not look back at me. I doubt he cared that some other guy
