As soon as Eli is tucked into bed, I immediately head for Kael's home office. From the time we spent sharing a drink there together the other night, I know he had good bourbon stocked. I push open the door, feeling a bit bad about invading his personal space, but not bad enough to stop. I pour myself two fingers before I make my way back out of the office, closing the door behind me. As soon as I step into the bedroom, I plop down in the large comfy chair that sits in the corner of the room.
