Mark stormed through the corridors with a determined stride. When he burst into his office, he found Vance sitting calmly in a chair, two of Mark’s warriors flanking him—the same ones Mark had assigned to keep an eye on him.
A slow, smug smile spread across Mark’s face. Vance, however, wasn’t fooled. The look in Mark's eyes told him everything he needed to know.
"I see you've finally gone insane, Alpha Mark," Vance said coolly, voice low and warning. "But I’ll tell you just once—think carefully before you do something you’ll regret."
