Back at the Wrath Pack, Becca changed into something light and comfortable with Harriet’s help. The tension from the chaos she and Dean had stirred at Bright Light Pack still lingered in her bones. “Are you going to tell me where you disappeared to?” Becca asked, eyeing Harriet as she folded her discarded clothes. “You were nowhere to be found, and no one knew where you went.” Harriet hesitated for a moment, then a soft smile crept onto her lips. “Um,” she began shyly, “my mate was the one Alpha Dean assigned to keep tabs on Alpha Mark. So... I guess you could say he kidn*pped me?” Becca burst into laughter. “kidn*pped? Seriously? Your mate?” Harriet giggled, nodding. “Yes. I didn’t know where he was taking me, and he wouldn’t let me out of his sight unless he had an errand to run.”
