Seraphina’s POV-
After leaving the bathroom, Cyrus asked me in a literal panic about how Ember was doing, and I didn’t answer. He had seen Ember’s tormentors come out of the bathroom, so, of course, he was worried. It happened just before I came out. I think it annoyed him more that I didn’t say anything. He needs to learn to trust the mate bond, even if it is incomplete, reach out for it hard enough, and you will be able to feel your mate. I have had years of practice doing it.
I know Abadrax walked over to Cyrus after I left, so I expect he will come find me soon. I was going to be meeting with Jareth for lunch. He is going to be training me during class after lunch, so we were going to have lunch together first. It is something we have been doing since we started training together.
