The moment I saw her, the lightning that had been coursing all over my body fizzled out. It broke my heart seeing her like this. I rushed over to Ember, and pulled her into my arms. She sobbed harder. Amelia looked distraught. Cyrus was pacing, which was unusual for him. He rarely, if ever paced about something. It was strange to see him acting this way. No one said anything, they just waited for her to calm down. We would talk then, because she was crying very loudly. Understandably so, I remember crying this hard when my dad left when I was six.
