Seraphina’s POV-
I couldn’t sleep. Abadrax and Cyrus decided it was a sleepover-worthy night. My older brothers were not leaving me alone with all of this. My parents and my mate have gone off to war. I have to stay behind and wait to hear from them. It left me quite upset, so neither Abadrax nor Cyrus wanted to leave me alone. Abadrax spent the entire evening holding me in his arms. Everyone says having older brothers is a pain, but in moments like this, it is truly everything. They are there when I need them, they protect me and care for me. They’re the best, though I will never tell them that. I wouldn’t want to fuel their egos, which are already big enough in school.
