CHAPTER FOURTEEN: Stella’s Move
Kaira’s Pov
I should have known that Stella isn’t someone to mess with. She is not someone that backs down in a fight .
Stell chose the audience as part of her plans. The next morning, the main courtyard was filled with activity when she made her move. Wolves gathered for the daily announcements, some of the warriors were returning from patrols, elders crossing the stone paths. It was the worst place for a confrontation.
Which meant it was exactly where she wanted it.
“Kaira ,” Stella called, loud enough for nearby wolves to hear. “You have made some improvement .”
I stopped walking.“Thank you,” I replied in a civil manner trying to keep my wolf from snapping her head off .
She circled me slowly, eyes sharp. “Funny how isolation does that. So
