They didn’t call it exile.They never did.
“Temporary reassignment,” the guard said as he handed me my cloak. “You are now assigned to the outer pack territory where there is low risk.”
Low risk means where you are forgotten more like abandon . I didn’t argue.I didn’t beg.I had learned that silence carried more weight than protest in this pack.
