Hector He stood looking at those in the foyer of the pack, every single one of them looked guilty to him, and the future Gamma and Delta were already kneeling down on the floor, heads bowed. Had walked right past their future Alpha and Beta and seen the state of them, no medical attention had been provided to them, and it was clear they’d taken a severe beating and hits to their nether region. The truth was out for all here to know. The leadership understood that not only had their sons treated their Mate atrociously, but so had all of them. The packhouse, right this very minute, reeked of fear, it was rolling off all of these wolves before him. 23 of them were standing before him and two were bowed down. “Into my office you all go.” He grated out. “Every one of you smells like fear, which, to me, says you all know why you’re here, and you all know you shouldn’t have done what you did. So you’re all going to be punished accordingly.” He watched them all file into his office and he was the last to step in, closing the door behind him. Inside his office was the Luna and his unit and there, laid out for all of them to see were silver cuffs and the pack's cat of three and five tails. He saw them all register just what was going to happen and every one of them sank down to the same position as the Gamma and Delta Heirs to the pack. “You’re not going to get the chance to speak freely, it’s far too late for that. I want an answer from all of you. Those that spoke the most abhorrent words myself, my Luna and my unit have ever heard; will be lashed with the cat of five tails, while cuffed with silver and are on the shaming post. “Those of you that did not speak the words but laughed at them and didn’t consider reporting them to your Luna, will be cuffed with silver and lashed with the cat of three tails. These words will never be spoken ever again by any of you, or I’ll cut your tongues out myself.” he grated out “The abhorred words, in any formalized sentence that you felt was appropriate to say and funny to say about what Jessica is to the twins. Referred to as her place in this pack, I guess for all of you as well as the twins. Which you’ve now all seen are beaten black and blue all over… was done by your Luna, not I or the Beta.” He flooded his aura over them. “Who here has ever stated the words c*m bucket in reference to Jessica?” he demanded to know. 25 wolves were before him and every one of them was now bowed down before him, and all of them said the word “me.” or “I have.” “Disloyal you all are to the leadership of the pack, how would any of you she-wolves like to be referred to as that very thing? I don’t think you’d like it very much. But I guess that just shows your very poor judgement. Take after my sons, who are about to be de-ranked to s**t scooping omegas as are all of you.” He saw many heads whip up and stare at him. “What did you think was going to happen when we, the Alpha, Luna and Beta of the pack found out how you speak of the future Luna? Regardless of how the heirs speak of her. You.” He pointed to all of them. “Should have f*****g known better.” He roared at them. “My own Mate and Luna was wolf-less when Graham and I scented her out, remained that way until the full moon after Marking and Mating. Showing this pack and our Mate, that her being wolf-less didn’t mean she would be treated any differently to other she-wolves. A Goddess-Gifted Mate is a precious thing to be granted. “Now all of you, when you get a Mate or for those of you that have a Mate, those Mates will be informed by myself as to what you did, to let them see just what kind of wolves you all are. I don’t think any of you are worthy of having a Mate. So I see fit to return in kind the cruelty you yourself dished out. “I will not only inform that Mate of yours when they come along, but for those of you that aren’t mated yet, I will encourage them to reject you based on your traitorous tendencies. You showed no loyalty to the future of this pack, so no loyalty will be shown to you,” Hector announced, and he could see the horror on many of their faces. Only six of them before him had Mates. The other 19 had yet to find their Mates. They all understood that if their own Alpha encouraged their Mates to reject them under the words of traitorous tendencies, it would be taken into account not only by the Mate but by the Mate’s Alpha and if the Mate happened to be an Alpha or part of his unit, then they would be rejected. Because it was a Luna Ranked wolf that they’d been so disrespectful and disloyal to. He turned his eyes to the future Gamma, “You are the biggest disappointment of all, outside of the actual heirs. Do you know why? Because Jessica is your actual f*****g job, and you abandoned her, abandoned your job, willingly gave up the right to be a Gamma, the very moment you didn’t stand up for her. Didn’t reprimand your own future Alpha and Beta and then didn’t go to your father with what you saw or heard, whichever it was that came first for you. “When you chose not to come to myself or Graham, the Luna even, when you learned of what those two were doing, to who is supposed to be your f*****g job to protect.” He snarled out at the boy “I strip you of your bloodline in full. Demand the Goddess revoke your Gamma ability because you are unworthy of it.” He rolled his aura at that boy and flooded it over him until the scent of Gamma was gone from him. “You’re nothing but an omega, the lowest rank of omega,” he stated. He watched him gasp in pain and struggle against the order to try and cling to his bloodline, but he couldn’t out muscle an Alpha, certainly not when he was unworthy of his bloodline. “Quinton. Deal with your boy.” “He ain’t my boy anymore,” Quinton stated flatly. “I hereby sever all ties to him for the crime of not protecting the future Luna from enemies within this pack, one of them being himself. I will rank up my daughter to his place inside this pack, if she is found to have none of the same tendencies as this one bowed before me.” “Accepted.” Hector nodded, and he watched Quinton snap silver cuffs on that boy and haul him up and out of the room. Hector turned and looked at all of them. Many of the she-wolves in here were now crying, tears sliding down their faces. “Do you think that will work? gain my sympathy. It won’t,” he stated and rolled his aura over all of them. “I de-rank every one of you down to the lowest of omega rank.” He snarled out and pushed everything he had at them all, and kept it going until every one of them scented of omega to him. There was much crying now, gasping of pain, and he put a foot on the former future Delta and shoved him down onto his back. “Despicable behavior from one that is to be a protector of those in this pack, including the wolf-less.” He shook his head, “Gerald.” He stated, and his Delta stepped up and cuffed his own son. “I recall telling you when you got your wolf, that you were to lead by example, to show this pack you care for everyone, will protect and defend them. To train and be a good Delta, don’t let the power of being an heir of the pack go to your head and think you’re above reproach.” Gerald sighed “I see you either ignored all my words, or simply did not listen. Clearly, haven’t seen how we run this pack.” “I saw, was there when you all made Jessica mate with the twins, everyone could see she didn’t want it. None of you care about her, we all followed your lead and nothing more,” the boy bit out. “Don’t just blame us, blame the Luna, for not taking into account what she saw and heard that day, where Jessica was concerned.” He heard his own Mate gasp at those very words, and stood staring down at the now former Delta, and he supposed they too were to blame, but they’d thought everything would work out in time. That the three of them just needed to bond was all. One mate between two was a precious thing, and they’d raised their sons to believe that. Heard their own boys talk about it, excited for that to happen wanted it so for themselves. Which led them to believe that they would accept Jessica and their bond would grow and flourish given a few weeks. They’d not foreseen this happening at all. They had just tried to give their boys a Goddess-Gifted Mate between them, something that wasn’t something to be tossed aside and could be hard to find. They’d also given Jesscia the title of the Future Luna, something that should have seen her gain full respect inside this pack. Only it had not, because their bloody sons had gone out of their way to ignore and harm their own Mate and for what. Jessica not wanting to say yes to them right away. Gregory had stated she’d humiliated them, when in fact she probably already had reasons to doubt they’d be good Mates to her. Not all Alphas got the yes right away, some had to actually prove themselves worthy to be a Mate, show their Goddess-Gifted they would treat them right and love them. It could in fact take weeks to sway a Mate that had her own reasons to not claim a Mate the moment they met. Jessica hadn’t verbalized an actual rejection, had simply stated she would accept one if they didn’t want her. So, in fact, she’d not humiliated them, she’d given them the opportunity to reject her on whatever grounds they saw fit. She’d given them a way out and, on their terms, showed full respect, only they’d not seen it that way. That very thing had made him, Graham and Steph, think there was leeway and that she might not exactly want a rejection at all. Just needed to see if the twins were willing to accept her was all. Three-way mate bonds could be difficult to sort out. That was all they’d thought it would be. They’d also not told their sons to mark and mate her that night, told them to go to their suite and sit and talk about it, see if the three of them could come to an agreement, and they’d all sit and talk about it the following day. Only they’d come downstairs marked and mate the next day.
