Hector His twin sons and both the Gamma’s and Delta’s eldest boys were all out there on the shaming posts. As he sat at his desk he was completely disappointed in all of their social group, even the two omegas assigned to Jessica. They had all behaved in a manner unbefitting of the pack. He couldn’t understand how they could treat her like that. When one day, she would be the Luna to this very pack, and they’d all have to look up to her, or go to her for help. See her be the one to grant a Luna’s leniency to them if they committed a crime. It seems they’d all forgotten this very thing. He sat there, more than disheartened about all that had happened inside his pack, or as Gregory had told him outside of it, everything he’d done had been out in the human world, and that was why it got past them, he supposed. The more he thought about it, the more he understood that it was because of how the twins had treated Jessica but that they all thought it was okay to do the same. But surely, they all had to know this day of reckoning would come and that should have been enough to keep them in check and not behave as the twins did. Now here was that day of reckoning and all he got were tears for their own plight. There were no tears of apology for Jessica and the way they treated her. No, there were only tears for themselves. They weren’t even tears of regret for what they’d said or done. They were simply there to try and elicit sympathy and stop them becoming omegas inside this pack, omegas that would have to bow down to Jessica herself, because they were all about to become the lowest of low, just like the twins were. He put a call into Alpha Larissa of the Wolfen Council to tell her both his twin sons had been demoted, and now their sisters were looking at being the possible heirs to the pack. It was undecided yet, because he’d yet to find out if they knew about all that was going on with Jessica and his sons. If she could please make time to investigate the matter, and if the girls were in the clear and had no knowledge at all, of the goings-on around their brothers and their one Mate, to please let him know, it was something that needed ordering from the boys and if the girls knew anything, they’d likely need ordering as well. The situation was a little more complex than just the cheating that had gone on where Gregory was concerned stated “Honestly, Larissa, I do not wish to repeat the horrid words that we’ve just learned are being said by the twins, their social group, even the omegas assigned to Jessica herself. Please, full questioning of the girls will be needed. “If they are in the clear and have no knowledge whatsoever, then you may make the announcement that they are now the heirs to the pack. If they knew and didn’t report it, I want the reason why pulled from them, and they too will be shamed; by you there at the college, and passed over for my, Graham and Stephanie's next child, and only one Alpha will reign in the future, because Kenneth and Brendon are not twins are a year apart.” Larissa had been silent for a long moment and then sighed “Serious it is, I will get back to you with the investigation results of your twin girls, within the hour.” “If they are in the know, I want you to see if they know the two words the boys, their social group and even her own omega’s know. You’ll be horrified and disgusted, and I will let you punish them at will for knowing and not reporting it. As for the not reporting, Larissa. Get that from them too, the why not? I’ve heard many things today that disappoint me greatly about my sons and some of my pack.” “Alright.” Had been her only reply before she’d clicked the line closed. Hector scrubbed a hand over his face and looked out the office door to see a she-wolf strolling past and his brain ticked on if she still worked at the auction house or not. Who the bloody hell knew what was truth or lies around Jessica? He stood up and strode out there, latched onto her arm just as she was stepping out the packhouse front doors and yanked her around. “Why are you not at the Auction House?” he asked her. “I’m not rostered on today,” Sonia told him. “What’s going on?” she motioned to all out on the shaming post. He stood and watched her as she realized just who was out there and saw her actively look at all the individual wolves and then swallow a hard and smelt fear started to ebb off her. “What happened to Jessica?” she asked, but her eyes couldn’t meet his. “Are you f*****g kidding me?” he snarled. “You, Eve and Lidia, are you all also disrespectfully calling her horrid names and insulting her all the time?” he demanded of her and rolled his aura at her. “Y… Yes,” she gasped out in pain. “Maybe,” Hector snarled out. “I should just start taking heads off every f*****g one of you.” He saw Sonia turn and stare at him. “I'm not like them,” she assured him. “It’s different, I don’t talk like they do.” She rushed out, and he understood she knew how they spoke of her. “Then tell me how you do?” he bit out. Her head bowed, and her hands were clutched together before her. “Just remind her that the twins don’t like her and why?” “Which is?” he grated out at her. “Fat, wolf-less and frumpy.” She murmured, and he smelled the fear rolling off her in full now “That they don’t love her... There’s…” “There’s more?” he finished her sentence. “I don’t actually work at the auction house any more and neither does Lidia. Only Eve does. We were… fired by the new boss.” “So right now, you’re telling me Jessica is dressed up to the nines in that new outfit and only Eve is there to protect her. Eve, who like you, disrespects her at every turn.” He muttered as he understood something else. They should have reported their dismissal to him so he could have tried to get replacements in the building. “Who’d you go to about being dismissed?” he asked. Her hand lifted, and she pointed to the twins. “They said not to worry about it, find another job. No one would touch her with a ten-foot pole. You didn’t need to be informed, she was their Mate, and they saw no need to have guards on her.” So even his own son’s the went behind his back and didn’t care to protect their own Mate, useless, deceitful bastards that weren’t worthy of any part of their bloodline at all. He let Sonia go and wrapped out, “To my office and connect yourself to Lidia and have her join you. Feel free to tell her, I now know that the task I allocated to you three and paid you to do, you’ve not done at all but are still taking the money from the pack.” He snarled at her, and she went running into the packhouse. His head whipped around as both his boys suddenly cried out in pain at the exact same time. He saw them turn and stare at each other, they understood what it was, even Hector understood someone had just touched Jessica. Then they were both gasping once more and crying out in pain, as more pains of betrayal hit them, it stopped after a moment and then started again 20 or so seconds later. He was watching his twins suffer it and wondered if Jessica was letting someone touch her on purpose, or if something had happened to her, three different touches in the space of a minute, and then it just stopped altogether. He found both his boys looking right at him, a snort came from him as his eyes moved to Gregory’s. “How’s it feel?” he asked, “Did you enjoy that?” He walked down there. “That is how she felt every time you touched another, uncaring of what she felt. Serves… you… right.” he told him, and then turned to Marcus. “What exactly did you feel and where?” he asked. “What does that matter, she’s cheating on us?” Gregory bit out. “Is she?” Hector asked right back. “Or has something happened to her, because she is beautiful and Luna ranked and I just found out you two have allowed her personal guards to stop watching over her. So is out there all alone right now for the snatching.” “No one would want that fat frumpy thing,” Gregory snarled out. Hector shook his head and rolled his eyes. “I see now, why you never noticed she is amazingly beautiful? Do you not recall how she looked just hours ago? Long lustrous hair, deep soulful dark grey eyes, pretty pouty lips that beg to be kissed, and a body that has curves to die for. “Your Mate stopped looking as you put it fat and frumpy long ago. She just hid it from you, because she likely hates the two of you and doesn’t want you touching her in any way, and that now how she’s finally seen, by all. Would have you wanting her more than you touch her now. She’s not so stupid, made herself look like that to keep your cheating eyes off her on purpose.” He shook his head. “You are a fool who can’t see what’s right in front of him, more so than you twin I get right now. So shut your mouth as I try to figure out what is happening. That girl has never caused you pains of betrayal, right?” He turned his attention to Marcus. “Never,” Marcus answered. "It was my face at first, pain trailed down the side of it. Then a moment later, my chest to hips,” it seemed this son understood what he wanted to try and figure it out, likely also didn’t believe Jessica would do it on purpose. That was at least something. “Then from her wrist down her arm, and all of my back, and it was kind of there and not there, someone, I think… humped her from behind.” He sighed. “Then I can only think they had a hand on her breast for a moment of two. Then around her ear now just nothing at all.” Hector’s line of questioning was stopped by his own Mate rushing out of the packhouse, “Hector, Eve said Jessica was just snatched off the street going to get her lunch. There were too many of them for her to get her back.” She was holding the phone out to him. “Speak.” Hector rapped out even as he saw movement from the packhouse. Graham was on the move. He looked right at him, and he hollered, “We’re headed into the city now to hunt her.” “It… it was like they were waiting for her. Two men I saw sitting by a van just casually chatting, big guys, scented of rogue and I watched them taunt her and then… just grab her and shove her into their van… One came after me, he was big, like Beta big. There was no way I could take him on and the other, he was similar in size. I don’t know how many were in the van.” Eve rushed out. “Why weren’t you with her?” Stephanie rapped out. “We… we don’t share the same lunch break,” Eve told her.
