Will you be able to stomach watching me get married to somebody else?
My heart was beaten wildly and my wolf was screaming inside my head, begging me to say no.
She wanted me to grab his collar and claim him right here but I kept my face like stone, holding on every drop of my facade.
I looked into Alexander’s painful blue eyes.
"I've survived worse" I said. "I can stomach watching you sign a piece of paper."
His face went pale, as if my words cut him deeper than any knife ever could. He clenched his jaw as he leaned in closer.
"You're lying" he whispered. "I can feel your heart beating faster in your chest. I can feel our bond. You can try to hide behind your cold Alpha walls all you want, but you care. It’s killing you just as much as it’s killing me."
