Maya’s Pov
"I'm going to home" I said furiously typing on my phone. "My private jet is ready at the airfield. I'm taking my beta."
"You are not going alone," Alexander said immediately, his tone leaving zero room for argument. The look of desire in his eyes had vanished, replaced by the lethal one of a King.
He walked over to the war room doors and threw them open, and barked orders to his Beta.
"Julian. Get the Royal Guard on the King's jet" he commanded. "We fly to the Silver-Falls now"
Julian bowed his head and ran down the hall to execute the order.
Across the hallway, Princess Sophia was standing with her arms crossed, looking thoroughly annoyed.
"Where are you going in such a hurry, Alexander?" she asked. "The council members are waiting in the main hall."
