Gray I stared in awe and fear as the doctor pulled out the tiniest baby from my wife’s stomach. “Gray, what’s going on?” Misty asked, panic in her voice. “It’s okay princess, stay calm. We have another baby,” Hal said. I could hear his voice shaking, he was scared too. “What?” she squeaked. “I don’t hear any crying.” I didn’t either. I know I wasn’t supposed to be watching, but I did. I watched as the doctor turned my baby over and used two fingers to rub in circles on my baby’s back. A nurse used a suction tube in his little mouth. After what felt like hours but was probably only seconds, a little cry came out. It sounded like a newborn kitten. All three of us inhaled sharply.
