Misty I was hyperventilating. Alarms were going off. Emily was trying to get me to breathe, but she was also having a hard time. Both of us had tears streaming out of our eyes. Nurses and the doctor on duty came rushing into the room. “Mrs. Knight, we need you to calm down, your blood pressure is through the roof, the stress is not good for the babies,” a nurse was saying. “My husbands, they were in an accident,” I was panting. “Your husband was in an accident?” the nurse asked. I shook my head and then nodded. Another nurse put an oxygen mask over my mouth and nose. I pointed at Emily and then the nurse. “We were on the phone with her husbands. They were on their way here when there was a crash. One is my brother, the other is my brother-in-law.” “I’m confused,” the nurse said.
