Daniel came back into the room and told us the officers wanted Emilia to make a full statement before they left. They would also take the photograph with them and check the door for anything useful. Emilia didn't look pleased about losing the picture, but she didn't argue. I cared more about finding whoever had entered her apartment.
I turned back to her. "Now tell me about Charles."
Emilia sat again. "I already told you why he contacted me."
"No. You told me what he offered you. I want to know what you gave him."
Her eyes went to Amelia before returning to me. "Information."
Amelia moved closer to the table. "What information?"
