I examined the number Daniel had circled on the document. Rebecca had been missing for days, yet someone had used her contact information to request changes to the account. That didn't necessarily mean she'd submitted the request herself. Someone else could have been using her details.
"Has the institution confirmed how the request was submitted?" I asked. "Was it done online or through an employee?" I looked at Daniel. "We need to know whether Rebecca actually made it."
"It was submitted through their online portal," Daniel explained. "The request came from an account registered to Emilia's company." He handed me another document. "The institution has preserved the records for investigators."
