Believe it or not, as I looked at Ted, I realized he really was sorry for his attitude and what he said about Shannon being a slut. But, his apology didn't erase the years of snide comments he made about women or the way he treated them. He needed to be taught a lesson, and in that instant of time, I got a brain storm – a just punishment for his past deeds..... something that was quite appropriate given the circumstances at hand.
"Another chance?" I asked, rhetorically.
"Yes." He said, softly. "I'll do anything to make it up to you and show you I'm genuinely sorry."
"Okay." I replied. "We'll see if you really mean it."
