“Scarlett, you’re a crazy woman.”
Jaxen’s voice was hoarse with frustration.
“Jaxen, you’re the one who hit your head.”
I rose onto my toes and tapped his temple with one finger, smiling sweetly at him.

After leaving Thornpark, I drove straight to the restaurant where I’d met Delaney.
