By the time I reached the office, I ran into Ryan Parker. He looked as if he was on his way somewhere.
“Mr. Parker, where are you going?” I asked with a smile.
“I’m heading out to meet a client.” He smiled back.
“Got it.” I waved and headed toward the elevators.
He hadn’t asked me to come along, so I figured I should just focus on my work.
Even after I said goodbye, though, I couldn’t seem to get the smile off my face.
It stayed there.
Seeing him first thing in the morning had put me in a good mood.
